All righty SD, we need more topics.

So what are your favorite things to do in the kitchen? Least favorite?

Mine is baking. I can't really cook, but I can freaking bake. I'd say my favorite things to bake are cookies. I hate baking cakes and brownies. And I hate cleanup. It's a bitch sometimes. So...what's food making for you?

(*laughs* Capitale idea, Koorime... ^_^)

Pastries seem to be my kryptonite, though the occasion will rise when I make a decent muffin... as well as cleaning - I'm a very messy chef.

Other than pastries, I don't mind cooking anything, although, I don't particularly enjoy fish. My style is a hybrid of Italian and French, a lot of butter and bread-group products in my dishes... And I learned a killer pumpkin and gingerbread dessert from Paula Dean..

I hate cooked vegetables other than potatoes and corn...

Ramble, ramble... I'm hungry, need to stop talking and get cooking... I'm thinking a butter-herb tomato sauce over fettuccine, maybe mixed with a little ricotta and goat cheese to add some flavor, and then baked with a crust of mozzarella and parmesan on top... Man, I wish I had some chicken to make my chicken crustini...

Whatever you're making sounds awesome. I guess I haven't learned to cook because I don't need to just yet. Maybe when I graduate high school I'll care more and stop baking.

About he most complicated thing I've ever made was a vanilla cake from scratch, but I made it blue and put homemade (orange) vanilla frosting on it. It stained my mixing bowls blue for about two months. Lol.

the vast majority of what i cook is in the microwave. most of the time, it either comes in a can, box, or cup.

when i do use the stove for actuall, non-college diet cooking, i can cook scrambled eggs, or an omelette, perhaps bacon. i never use the oven.

i'm pretty pathetic in the kitchen

Oh dear, this topic is my enemy D= I love to cook/bake...its just...i cant...without of course, having a few casualities of people minding their own business within a 50 mile radius. It is quite sad really. For example; the other day i attempted to cook a lovely dinner of Mac'n'cheese and sausages with some buscuits.(did i say buscuits? i meant biscuits) Well, long story short, the mac'n'cheese somehow ended up soggy and gruel-like even when i followed the directions. The Sausages somehow DID survive. The biscuits...They came out the same way they went in. Giant lumps. 'Cept instead of bein soft and gooey they were hard and Crispy black. They didnt spread out D= Oh my!
Ive been sticking with Ramen, can of soup, and microwavable dinners, and sometimes nothing at all...(unless i force me bf to cook >:] ) Once i even burnt speghettie noodles.

The fact is, people tell me that EVERYONE can cook and that i just need practice. That is a dam lie D= I even went to cooking classes 2 years in a row...I passed well...cept it was only because after i burnt one of our projects, my team decided to put me on dish duty instead of doin the actual cookin. =)

I can make rice pretty good tho, and i have my own egg recipe...>:O thats about it xP

ALtho it was kinda fun when i was in 3rd grade and decided to make bread using a microwave. The dough got so hard it would not break no matter how hard u slammed it into the ground or smashed it with a hammer. My mom chucked them at kids goin down the street. How lovely =)
