I dunno about you guys, but I have a different list of manga I love than anime. What do you find? Do you find some manga better or worse than the anime? Or when you get into something, do you love them both?

Besides YYH and YGO, I love:

FLCL
Hikaru no Go
Chibi Maruko-chan
Debu Neko (no anime form)

...in manga only.

Didn't like the FLCL anime, but for some reason got hooked on the manga. Same with Hikago. The anime put me to sleep.

HighSchool of the Dead.

But I haven't read that much...

I also like Naruto...it's the only manga I've been following lately.

Besides YYH

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon/Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (I put pretty guardian because it was on the manga books)

InuYasha

DNAngel (The anime version was horrible)

Rurouni Kenshin

Absolute Boyfriend

Hellsing

Fruits Basket (Sooooo much better than the anime)

I absolutely agree. The anime is missing critical plot details, which is why I think it's a mistake for people to ask for a second season like they have been. One of the funniest things is reading the manga and then going back and watching Akito in the anime...funny once you find out more about Akito.

Geez I forgot about Kenshin. I really like the later volumes with Enishi and such.

besides from yyh...hmmmm i like all manga i can get ahold of xD i download mine tho cuz then pple translate it themselve and u can read an entire series even if its not out in the US yet :P...aside from yaoi i recently read Absolute Boyfriend and fruitsbasket...and i finished one of my favs Imadoki, which i highly recomend...i started reading nana in Shoujo Beat's first sample issue and i decided to watch it cuz i couldnt find the manga anywhere at the time...eng anime translators for nana are a bit slow and stuff so ive been stuck at the same ep for like a month now x-x so im prolly gonna find the manga for it...

Finished the deathnote manga, that was a blast...it was just so awsome! i also finished the movies...which were live action...omg it was totally different than the manga so if u dont wanna wait to finish the manga, do watch the movie...theres a totally different ending...more dramatic than the manga actually in my opinion...^_^

omg theres just too many to pick a fav....i cant decide ^^;;;

Lol

I remember telling my friend about Akito and she goes o_o what?! You'd think they'd keep that in the anime at least

I go well if they went as far in anime as they did in the manga it would've been better and made more sense

Aside from Yugioh probably being at the top of my list i can't really say my favorite because it really varies depending on what i feel like reading genre wise. I mean some times I feel like reading NANA, other times Naruto. I will admit that I do love fruits basket that floats somewhere near the top at all times along with Death Note.

Death Note
Hellsing
BoBoBo-BoBo-BoBoBo (the manga is loads more awesome than the anime. The anime is goofy, this picture sums up all of my love for the manga.) Posted Image

I haven't done this yet... but here are a few random favourites...

Yami no Matsuei (Decendants of Darkness) - Manga and Anime, both lovely, although never finished
Angel Sanctuary - Manga... as for the anime, only three episodes were ever done, but it was good
Vampire Knight -Manga only, excellent plot and artwork
Godchild | The Cain Saga - Manga only
Death Note - The manga's ending was disappoint and the anime was praise worthy (althought the second opening pissed me off)
Hellsing - Manga=great, the anime needs to work, but I haven't seen the new version yet
Fruits Basket - Manga very good story-wise, the anime was also intriguing

Ah, there's too many to count... besides, I can't even fit my collection in the china cabinet (which has never had china in it) anymore...
