What're you guys watching on TV these days?

Hmm... a lot, in spite of no longer having cable.

Sundays - Fox's Sunday night run, if it's on. Simpsons, King of the Hill... well, I don't watch Family Guy anymore, so that's about it.

M-F - The People's Court, Arthur, Divorce Court, Simpsons at 7; the midnight run between Fox & CW: Simpsons, Malcom, South Park, King of the Hill, Cops, Eye for an Eye.

Mondays - Hell's Kitchen

Tuesdays - House (but the season ended)

Saturdays - Fox's Sat night run, if it's on. Cops, AMW, Simpsons.

And the news if I'm bored enough during the 5-7 stretch.

I rarely watch TV xD I'm always playing an RPG or watching anime or movies on my laptop

Though I do watch Whose Line is it Anyway? whenever I wanna laugh

*sighs at you*

I miss cable.
Going from digital cable back to broadcast TV was like chopping off my foot.

I'm still suprised that (it seems like) everyone hates TV these days.

I guess it's the internet's fault.
The internet wasn't even a big deal, or in schools, until I hit middle school, maybe that's why I adore TV...

I can see why people hate... the news at least anyways... I hate the telephone more though...

Anyhoo, as for my television-watching habits, I don't watch the telly like a normal person... it's just on for ambient noise in most cases or for when I'm really bored... the only time I really want to watch is when the following are on:

- Stargate SG-1/Atlantis
- John Doe
- Doctor Who
- The Dresdent Files
- Blood Ties
(All of which I think Rezuri can appreciate...)
- Misc. Anime on Toonami and Adult Swim (and maybe SciFi, I missed what was on the first Ani-Monday...)

Other than that, I'm platying a game on either my game console or my computers or working on stories or artwork...

Yep, just ambient noise...

I used to leave it on all the time when my computer was in the same room at college. I like the ambient noise too, it kills the boredom and loneliness.

I don't really watch tv that often the two shows that I did watch when they were on were 24 and Prison Break. But I haven't even watched the last 2 seasons of 24 its so hard to commit to something every week. I wish I had Tivo.

As much as I love Dominic Purcell, I never got into Prison Break... *shrugs*

As for SG-1, Daniel's my favourite... *points her current sig*

I don't watch too much anymore. most of the shows I watch are on channels we don't get at my house. These are things I do tend to watch though.

CSI (of any form. Preferably Miami or Nevada)
Law and Order (pretty much all of them, prefer CI)
Dog the Bounty Hunter ( I love Leland)
Gilmore Girls (ones I haven't seen fifty million times)
24 (Starting to get old. Come on, Kiefer)
House (this should be at the top of my list.)
Scrubs (Oh JD.)
Batman Beyond (But that's via the internet)

Then of course there was Naruto(gawd, damn fillers) and Bleach, that I can't watch anymore because I don't have freakin' cartoonnetwork at my house. Wtf? Anyway, those are the shows I watch when i can and I don't go out of my way to watch them. Unless it's House. That's pretty much it at this point.

Kind of a weird topic for me, since I don't really "watch" TV anymore when things are originally being aired. I TiVo a ton of shows and then pick what I want to watch if I'm in the mood.

Two shows I watch every week, though, are House and Heroes. Love them both.

Aside from that, it seems to focus on Good Eats/Iron Chef/The Secret Life of...(Food Network) and Dirty Jobs/How Things are Made(Discovery). I might watch one of those shows a day, but don't even usually watch that.

As far as anime, I watch Naruto/Bleach/One Piece when they have been dubbed and released for download. The first two speak for themselves as to why I watch them, but One Piece really took me by surprise. The english dub totally fucked that show up for America. They censored out so much of the show that our episode 40 was actually something like episode 70 in Japan. The original, subtitled, version is really really good. Good action and great humor.
